Temple Rites

I haven't shared here in a while, I ended, and I begin again with the post about the Temple Rites. It's been my community offering project, and an experiment, the new scene and a paradigm emerging. Exactly a year ago at the same time I was dancing deep in the playa, riding the waves of bliss, until the Sun rises again.. a deep desire appeared within me, to bring this kind of ecstatic energy back home, to share it with others.
This year it wasn't in my flow to go to Burning Man, which is very hard to miss on, yet at the same time, I find myself dreaming this dream into being in my reality. All of the sudden I am stepping in so much deeper into the role of the temple keeper, music promoter, musician, sound healer, event organizer, & so much more.. taking on more ownership over running the Galactic Center space, that is such a wonderful sacred playground! I am healing & birthing myself playing music in these resonant caves! I am really blessed to have this opportunity, it is accelerating my growth in so many ways. I have to remember about the perfection of this present moment. I am at the most perfect place and the perfect time. I trust and surrender.

our todays journey:
6:30pm - We will be practicing traditional Chinese exercises from Qi Gong, Tai Chi, Ba Gua and Hsing Yi with Carlos Lozano, all designed to heighten awareness of your own energies and the energy of other people. Some of the exercises use a partner (bring a friend?). Carlos Lozano has practiced Tai Chi for over 15 years, and has been privileged to learn from masters of the Wu and Yang styles.
7:30 - Yoga practice with Alysa Volpe Alysa Volpe has been studying and practicing yoga for almost 20 years. She brings creativity and humor into the practice, and she enjoys weaving different influences, from Ashtanga and Jivamukti to Iyengar and Yin Yoga, into each class. Through her experiences as a performer and artist, she is acutely aware of the healing and inspiring benefits of a regular yoga practice.
8:30 - Dynamic Movement Meditation with Tina Notaro Dynamic Movement Meditation is an Osho based practice designed to release the practitioner from 3 different levels of suffering; Emotional, Mental and spiritual. Each of the three stages of the dynamic meditation cleanses buried suffering in the subconscious mind. Through chaotic movement methods the mind is nullified. It has nothing to do. The method is so chaotic that the center of consciousness is automatically pushed first from the mind to the heart. If the heart becomes light and unburdened through the cleansing process, then the center of consciousness is pushed still lower; it comes to the navel. Whenever it is required that we respond in immediate, and self sustaining ways in life, our consciousness drops to our navel center. “we act without thinking… we have a gut reaction” It is the seat of our intuition. The dynamic meditation is a the portal to releasing what keeps us suffering that is kept buried in our subconscious…
9:30 - live music by Butterflies and Bones Inspired by the the Mystery, this troubadour duo made up of Diana SkyEyes and Jason Wechs weaves original music from both ancient and future musings to create a present moment of spiritual revelry. A variety of instruments and vocal styles are used to create an ambient and lush sound scape for the journey to the Source within. "
